Distance: 24 miles (12 miles each day)

Difficulty: Moderate/strenuous - some rough moorland walking

Saturday July 1 & Sunday July 2, 2017

Join Dartmoor Walks This Way on a two-day guided walk northwards across Dartmoor from Shipley Bridge in the Avon valley to the village of Lydford in the northwest.  This walk takes in the whole amazing variety of Dartmoor landscapes – river valleys, high moorland, ruined tin mines, woodland, dramatic tors, prehistoric sites, ancient tracks and villages.  We’ll stay overnight in Bellever Youth Hostel (bedding, supper and breakfast provided) and finish in Lydford from where taxis will return us to the start point.  A more detailed description of this walk can be found here

The cost of £85 includes accommodation, food except for lunches, and transport back to the start point.  £20 deposit required to book

It is possible to just walk one of the days (cost £20) but you will need to make your own return travel arrangements at the end of the day.
